Steve and I are from Ontario, Canada. We’re married, empty nesters, and like many people our age, we spent most of our lives working hard, paying bills, and putting everyone else first.
I ran a seamstress business for over 45 years while also working a full-time job, and Steve worked physically demanding construction jobs. We thought retirement would eventually come but life moved faster than we expected, and financially, we just weren’t ready. The harder we worked, the more exhausted we became.
Health struggles, surgeries, debt, and living paycheck to paycheck left us feeling stuck. And when I had to stop working because of my health, we realized something scary when the work stopped, so did the income.
We were also missing time with our family and friends! We couldn’t help our children with the kids, because we had no time! That hurt!!That’s when we found a simple online business system, a business in a box, that gave us hope again. Something flexible, step-by-step, and something we could build together without sacrificing every hour of our lives. And honestly for the first time in a long time, we finally feel like we can breathe again. We see possibilities instead of fear.
